This 12-week program is available during the Winter months to athletes ages 7 - 19 who want to further develop their individual running skills and performance.  Athletes enhance their running potential through the knowledge and understanding of running mechanics and the importance of mobility, potentiation, core strengthening and nutrition.

In addition, this Program provides Video Analysis and Biomechanical breakdown of the running pose including Body Position, Stance and Drive Phase, Head position, Arm Carriage, Hip Extension, Foot Strike, Cadence and Torso Movement. 

Program participants have the opportunity to compete in several local events including The Dream Run held in January and the Run for the Dream Indoor Track & Field Invitational in the Save Mart Center.  This meet features a new state-of-the art million dollar Tartan Track and attracts youth Track Clubs from around California.

This is a great program for those interested in taking their running mechanics to the next level as well as conditioning for Spring triathlon season and school track & field.  It incorporates long runs at Woodward Park, specific strength and core workouts, tackling hills and track workouts.  Athletes will learn pacing, race starts, track and relay team etiquette.
