iCAN Junior Triathlon Club and Team is excited about the opportunity to participate in the Alyssa Samansky Track Challenge on Wednesday, August 8.  This event gives honor to Alyssa Samansky, the daughter of Aaron Samansky (owner of Sierra Running Company), who was tragically killed when she was 7 years old.  Alyssa loved to read and run, so proceeds from the event will support the local Fresno County Library and the Clovis West Track Team.  Alyssa would have turned 14 years old this year, so a donation of $14.00 is requested.  We have participated in this annual event for the past 2 years, and it brought great joy to Aaron and his family to have the support of our Club.  We all had a BLAST!
 
We will participate in the Samansky Track Challenge in lieu of practice on Wednesday, August 8th. 
 
Event Details
Date: Wednesday, August 8th
Time:  5:30 p.m. Field Events, 6:00 p.m. Track Events
Location:  Clovis West Track (Millbrook/Teague)
Cost:  $14.00 per athlete
 
Registration Forms are available at Tri Club Practice.  Complete your form and return it with your payment to Coach Joanna at practice on Monday, August 6th.   Your participation is in  lieu of practice, so we want to be sure you get a good workout and have a lot of FUN!!!
 
I want to encourage all athletes to participate.  We will set up our iCAN Junior Triathlon Club tent and have a lot of fun!!!
 
Don’t forget to wear your iCAN Junior Triathlon Club Running Singlet!!!  Show your Club Spirit.
